Reservation Policy
When you book a reservation, a non-refundable payment for the first night is required to guarantee your reservation. We strongly encourage you to verify your travel plans with all involved parties prior to making your reservation.
A two-night minimum stay is required on week-ends. A three-night minimum stay is required for some holiday weekends.
There is a Policy Agreement that needs to be completed in order to confirm and guarantee your lodging reservation for Cottages, Resort Cabins, Family Cabins and Suites. It will only take a few moments and is an important step in reserving your Lodging.

Cancellation Policies
Lodging units including Suites, Family Cabins, Resort Cabins & Cottages – Deposit & Cancellations
- A non-refundable payment for the first night’s stay per is required to guarantee your reservation.
Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are welcome by phone, or checks will be accepted by mail.
- The non-refundable balance owing on your lodging unit reservation must be received 30 days prior to your arrival date, otherwise your reservation will be cancelled.
- If you cancel your lodging reservation outside of 30 days, you will forfeit your initial deposit.
- If you cancel your reservation inside of 30 days, you will forfeit any and all monies paid on your lodging reservation.
- A non-refundable payment for the first night’s stay per is required to guarantee your reservation.

- The balance owing on your reservation will be charged 7 days prior to your arrival date.
- If you cancel your reservation outside of 7 days, you will forfeit your initial deposit of one nights stay.
- If you cancel your reservation inside of 7 days you will forfeit any and all monies paid on your camping reservation.
Group Deposits & Cancellations for ALL Reservations that Include Three or More Sites or a Combination of Sites
- A non-refundable payment for the first night’s stay per is required to guarantee your reservation.

- The non-refundable balance owing on your reservation must be received 60 days prior to your arrival date, otherwise your reservation will be cancelled.
- If you cancel your reservation outside of 60 days, you will forfeit your initial deposit.
- If you cancel your reservation inside of 60 days you will forfeit any and all monies paid on your lodging reservation.

Pet Policy
Glenwood Canyon Resort welcomes quiet, non-aggressive canine companions when arrangements are made at the time of reservation. We want our guests to enjoy the company of their well-behaved dog while on vacation. In the cabins you may have one large dog, or two small to medium sized dogs.
The resort reserves the option of limiting the number and size of pets on a case-by-case basis. All pet guests must be well groomed and up to date on shots and vaccinations. Advance pet reservations are required since our facility has limited accommodations for pets. A Pet deposit of $250 will be taken on arrival for Cabin reservations.
Glenwood Canyon Resort has limited Resort Cabins and Camper Cabins available for your pet.

Only dog guests who are quiet and non-aggressive toward other pets and guests are invited to the resort. The dog owner guest hereby agrees that the resort is held harmless for any loss or injury or accident suffered by your dog while a visitor at the resort. The dog owner also hereby agrees that any damage or injury caused by their dog to our property, and /or other guest pets, or to any guests is the sole responsibility and liability of the pet owner.

Dog guests are not to be left unattended in the cabin or camping area at anytime. In order to preserve the peace and serenity we offer, dogs cannot be allowed to bark and disturb other guests.
- Please keep your dog on a leash when walking them and contain them to the area around your cabin and the resort.

Guests accompanied by pets are responsible for cleaning up after pets. Trash cans for waste disposal are located throughout the park. Please use the plastic bags provided.

All dogs must sleep in their crates, carriers, or a pet bed. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds. Dogs are only allowed in the designated pet friendly Cabins.

There is an additional fee for our resort cabins of $30 per pet per day for your pets, to be added to your accommodation charges, to cover the costs of additional cleaning. Your cabin will be inspected after check out and any with damages will be assessed and charged accordingly. If you are uncertain whether your dog may damage or soil the rug, we suggest you roll any rugs so you avoid being charged for professional cleaning or replacement.
Any violation of this policy will cause eviction of the pet and owner of the premise. You will be responsible for lodging costs.
You must read and sign an agreement at the time of check in at Glenwood Canyon Resort. By signing to the above agreement, you are stating that you do not hold Glenwood Canyon Resort accountable for any destructive, harmful, or any other wrong behavior of your pet that may occur during your stay.

REGISTRATION: All guests must register at the office before entering the Resort.

CHECK-IN TIME: To allow your unit or site to be properly prepared for your arrival, please do not request an early check-in time.
– CABINS & SUITES: 4:00 PM
– RV & TENT SITES: 2:00 PM

CHECK-OUT TIME: Other guests with reservations make it necessary that you observe the check out time for your site or unit as a matter of courtesy.
– Lodging Units: 10:00 AM
– Camping Sites: 11:00 AM

HOURS:
– OFFICE & STORE: Office hours are 7 days a week and posted on the front door. We have groceries, ice, firewood, ice cream, goodies and souvenirs.
– QUIET HOURS: Observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

VEHICLES: One vehicle is permitted at each site. A registration ticket is required to be displayed at all times and provided at check-in. Parking arrangements can be made through the office for other vehicles and/or trailers for an additional fee.
– The washing of RVs and vehicles is prohibited.
– The operation of ATVs or motorized bikes is not permitted on the resort property.
– SPEED LIMIT: 5mph, including bicycles. Please watch your downhill speed.

PETS: Your pets are welcome for an additional fee; please make sure they are quiet.
– When they are outside, they must be on a leash and never left unattended.
– PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR PET.

CAMPFIRES: Campfires are permitted in designated areas only. They must be contained in the fire rings provided. You are responsible for your campfire. Moving your fire ring or leaving the campfire unattended is prohibited. Limit height of fire.

FIREWOOD: Firewood can be purchased in the store or you can bring your own. Gathering of wood or cutting of trees, including branches, is not permitted in the Resort or on the surrounding property.

TREES: Please help us protect our trees for future guests! Do not hang anything from or tie anything to the trees. Cutting trees, including branches, is prohibited.

TRASH: Dumpsters are located throughout the Resort. Campfire rings are not trash receptacles. Please help us keep our Resort grounds beautiful.

NO SMOKING: Glenwood Canyon Resort is a smoke free environment. Smoking is not permitted in any of our public buildings, cabins or suites.

CHILDREN: We like to see them having fun, but under the watchful eye of a caring parent or guardian. All children on the grounds must be accompanied by an adult.

CABINS & SUITES: Please refer to the guidelines listed in your individual cabin or unit for specific rules.

RV SITES: These sites are reserved for RVs only. We do not allow tents in RV sites.

RESTRICTIONS: No firearms, fireworks, or BB guns are allowed in the Resort.

RESTROOMS: Please help us keep the restrooms clean. If they need some attention, please contact the office.

BEAR COUNTRY REMINDERS: You are in bear country. Please do not keep food or trash around your site. Please take trash to bear-proof trash receptacles DAILY.
