We just came back from a week in Glenwood Springs CO. The place is near Aspen. The resort we stayed in is called the Glenwood Canyon Resort. What a lovely place to stay for a week nestled in a cabin in the mountains for 1 week. It was the middle of July ,and you could still see snow on top of some peaks. The river that runs along the resort was ice cold ,and I hear it never gets above 55 degree's. Great fishing, river rafting,horse back riding, enormous hot springs,etc,etc. Too many things to do, and so much beauty. A must go to destination,for all. We had a large family reunion,and this was the place to be. I have been in many different places in Colorado, but this is the most lovely,and scenic. All nearby activities can be arranged onsite. Fantastic staff, family owned and operated. If you are planning a trip,I would highly recommend this resort.

Had a wonderful experience at the Glenwood Canyon Resort! Our newly remodeled single cabin was the perfect venue to relax and enjoy the tranquility of Glenwood Springs and the beautiful mountains. Our private wood deck with breathtaking view also had its own gas grill and patio furniture which allowed us the choice of where and when to eat. Fully inclusive kitchen provided all the comforts of home. We enjoyed our lunches in town but breakfast and dinner were reserved for some quiet time sitting around and talking. My niece loved her private loft and while I wouldn't want many more people than we had (2 audults and 1 8-year old) there was plenty of room and the pull-out queen size couch was comfortable for sleeping. I recommend staying here for a truly different experience! Why go to the mountains to stay in a cookie-cutter hotel room? Enjoy!

Stayed two nights earlier this month in a furnished cabin with my daughter (8yrs old) and my sister. The layout was perfect, my sister in her own bedroom, and the loft to my daughter. Even the queen sleeper sofa was comfortable. Cabin was like new and the management went out of their way to be of service.
I will very likely stay there again, and will recommend to others.
