Glenwood Adventure Park - Caving
Take a tram ride up to the top of Iron Mountain and entrance to the Glenwood Caverns and Historic Fairy Caves. Choose from two different cave tours and journey into a pristine underground world formed millions of years ago. The caverns are well presented by state of the artlighting and all walkways are well maintained. This is truly an enjoyable and educational journey.
Kids can enjoy Discovery Rock, a fun learning experience where they can unearth the magic of geodes while panning for gemstones in the running water of the gemstone mining sluice box.
During your visit to the caverns, you can experience true Colorado fare at the Exclamation Point restaurant. Enjoy the scenic views of Glenwood Canyon and the Roaring Fork Valley from the rustic dining room or the viewing decks. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner, with a great children's menu, starting at 11 AM. Exclamation Point also services group functions including banquets and meetings.
